Over the Hump Day

Today has been BUSY!! I didn't get everything I needed to do done by a long shot, I don't know how to fit it all in!!

The day started a lot earlier than I had planned, I was so looking forward to sleeping in until 6!! But, hubs phone started making crazy noises on the iHome at 5, WTH!?! Then mini me started talking in her sleep. I didn't actually get out of bed until 6, but have been up since 5. Then the two little ones were moving like sloths this morning, I couldn't get them going! Finally got us all out and and everyone but mini me dropped off. Spent 2 hours in mini me's class, man kindergarteners are tough (I can't believe I almost became a kindy teacher, eek!!).

Then I came home and banged out a quick 1.5 miles on the treadmill (streak day #8, I am really feeling this streak now!!) as a warm up for the Bang Bang Workout on BodyRock.tv. It was a good one!! 30 minutes of tough intervals and core work! In the interest of full disclosure, this is what the workout did to me.

Crazy lady!!

I took a quick shower and vacuumed before having a super yummy lunch and watching The Biggest Loser. I made Elvis oatmeal, oatmeal with peanut butter and banana chips (TDF!!), prunes and coffee. So yummy! The Biggest Loser marathon sucked, those poor people!! That would be the worst marathon I could imagine.

Blech!!

We had the girls dance tonight and then hubs made a very yummy dinner. It's something his grandma used to make (tortilla) just eggs and potatoes in a skillet.

Amazing!

Of course the kiddo who nearly NEVER complains about food hated it, kids! But I loved it!

Now it's after 9 and 3 out of 4 girls are still awake and those same 3 have each come out with complaints. I want to watch Suburgatory, drink my Sleepytime Tea and go to bed ASAP, but it looks like it's not happening.

  3. Eggs and potatoes in a skillet? So it's like an omelet with hashbrowns in it?? Yes please!

So jealous of everyone with their own treadmill!

  6. OH I'd totally eat that egg/potato thing. Right up my alley--I love anything with potatoes, and imagine all the protein from those eggs!
